STUDENTS from Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School are set to take part in the Shakespeare School’s Festival.
Members of the Hiplight Players, the school’s theatre group, will be putting a Beatle’s twist to the play Much Ado About Nothing when they perform at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds.
More than 20 budding actors, picked from years 8 to 12, have been rehearsing hard for the half-hour performance ready for the festival which starts today until Saturday.
Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School is one of 19 schools participating at West Yorkshire Playhouse and across Yorkshire 39 schools are taking part during October and November.
