More we help, the bigger we become

The autumn leaves are not the only sign we see when out and about.

Have you noticed the abundance of seeds and wild fruit on the pathways where the birds of the air can feast whenever they like?

All those who grow their own are offering one and all a sample of their produce, namely runner beans, tomatoes and vegetables of every description.

The joy and the wonder that comes with seeing the mature produce now that started as a seed in spring.

Christ said: “Unless a grain of wheat falls and dies it remains only a single grain.”

Our good acts can become like that seed.

The more we help others, the bigger we become in their sight.

The more we opt out, the more insignificant we are.
