Woman who died after A58 collision is named

A woman who died after a collision near the Lion pub on the A58 in Wyke has been named.

Janet Molloy, 51, of Norwood Green, died from serious injuries after she collided with a Toyota IQ2 at about 1.10am on Sunday, April 24.

The vehicle was travelling towards Bradford at the time and its 19-year-old male driver is assisting with the investigation.

Acting Sergeant Mathew Tunney from the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said:“We are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicle or Mrs Molloy immediately prior to it.”
