Video: Clifton’s Faffen Fuffen Fair makes a comeback

Waiting for Video...

Traditional village fun returned to Clifton near Brighouse at the weekend when the Faffen Fuffen Fair was revived for the first time in decades.

The fair was opened by Helen Lever, head teacher at St John’s Primary Academy, and included pig racing, face painting, stalls and a hog roast.

Hundreds of people watched the procession make its way along Towngate, led by Clifton and Lightcliffe Band, and enjoyed music from Roger Davies and singer Chloe Abbot and children’s entertainment.
