Police investigating the death of Huddersfield woman Emma Siswick have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

The 39-year-old, who was previously detained in hospital, has also been arrested for the attempted murder of an 11-year-old and a nine-year-old boy.

He remains in hospital for further treatment medical assessment and enquiries are continuing into the murder by Protective Services Crime.

37-year-old Emma Siswick was found inside a property on Reinwood Road, Marsh, after officers responded to an ongoing domestic related incident on May 18.

She had suffered a serious stab injury and was taken to hospital but later died.
