Top mark for car park

EVEN car parks win awards these days!

The CarMark seal of approval (the parking world's Oscar) has been bestowed on the Mill Lane car park on the edge of Brighouse town centre.

Calderdale crime prevention officer Keith Williams said: "The car parks which have been given the award have been designed with security and safety as an integral part of the package with good lighting and surveillance."

Car parks in Brighouse which already have the award are Bethel Street, Parsonage Lane and off Commercial Street .
