Santa makes an early visit
Christmas craft fair at Rastrick High School. Maddie Banham, eight, left, with Father Christmas and his helpers.
THE spectacular Christmas arts and crafts fair has returned at Rastrick High School for a sixth year.
The school in Field Top Road was packed with a sparkling mixture of Christmas gift ideas and a host of stalls offering everything from jewellery to cupcakes, chutneys and candles.
Visitors were able to do some early Christmas shopping, buying tree decorations, books, jewellery, cakes and jam jars filled with goodies.
There were items to win on the tombola, reindeer face painting and a special visit from Father Christmas himself, who welcomed the youngest visitors into his grotto and even posed for a photo with them.
Many students ran stalls selling festive treats and the grand raffle saw one lucky winner the proud owner of an iPod Touch.

With its mix of Christmas cheer and sounds of the season, the hall was buzzing and a good time was had by all who attended.
