BASH Local are looking for donations of any canned and packaged foods and your donations would help support the food bank that the charity runs every Monday and Friday at Central Methodist Church on Parsonage Lane, Brighouse.

Steve Brown, store manager for Sainsbury’s in Brighouse, said: “It’s fantastic to create a partnership with BASH Local who are a local charity at the heart of our community helping those in need.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for customers and colleagues to support our local area.”

Rebecca Snow, food bank manager from BASH Local, said: “Thanks to Sainsbury’s and the generosity of the people of Brighouse, Bash Local are able to stay a independent food bank knowing all donations go straight back to those in need in our own community.

“This will impact massively on us being able to support more people and help families in the school holidays.”
