Robbery at jewellers in Brighouse today

A gang of robbers attacked a jewellers in Brighouse today.

Detectives were called with reports of an ongoing robbery at H Marsden Jewellers on Bradford Road at 11.09am.

A gang had burst in and threatened staff.

They escaped with a small quantity of jewellery.

No one was hurt.

Neighbouring businesses did not hear anything but reported seeing the gang escape in car which sped off with its passenger door open.

Inquiries are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone with information who contact them in Calderdale CID via 101.
