Man hit by a car

MOTORISTS are facing huge delays throughout Brighouse this morning after the A58 in Halifax was closed.

The road is closed due to an accident after a 35-year-old man was hit by a car at 5.30am near the petrol station on Godley Lane.

He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with head injuries.

Traffic is queuing throughout Brighouse, especially in the Hipperholme area.
