Jewellery stolen from house on outskirts of Brighouse

Jewellery was stolen from a house as thieves entered through the rear door of a house on the border of Brighouse.

The incident took place on May 3 between 10am and 4pm at a property on Shepherds Thorn Lane.

A number of items were stolen including;

A distinctive, hand-made, white and yellow gold necklace with a traditional Greek design.

Gold ring, with 1 carat emerald and 1.2 Carat diamond cluster.

Yellow gold citrine diamond ring.

DKNY Rose gold watch.

Le Vian 14 carat gold diamond and blueberry tanzanite ring.

White gold trilogy tanzanite and diamond cluster ring.

18 carat two-colour gold, ruby and diamond ring.

Rotary ladies gold bracelet watch.

Police Constable Dan Ashton, of Huddersfield CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen or heard anything suspicious in the Bradley area last Tuesday to come forward to the police with any information. Enquiries are ongoing.

“A number of distinctive pieces of jewellery were stolen from the property, some of which have great sentimental value. I would also appeal to anyone who has seen these items for sale, or who has been invited to buy these items to get in touch.”
