Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Day Nursery has been rated Outstanding in their latest Ofsted report.
The nursery on Bradford Road was inspected on December 3 and was given the top marks in all areas of the report.
Inspector Laura Hoyland said: “Children are making rapid progress in their learning and development because staff have a thorough understanding of how children learn and develop.
“Children are extremely confident and show high levels of self esteem. This is because staff give high priority to creating very strong bonds and attachments with children and their families.
“The way in which teaching and learning is monitored by the management team is inspirational.
“There are a wide range of staff qualifications within the setting, and although many staff are unqualified the level of coaching and monitoring means staff deliver outstanding quality teaching to children.”
Charlotte Roebuck, managing director at the nursery said: “The inspection gave us the opportunity to demonstrate to the inspector what we do every day of the week. It is lovely to get the recognition for working at such a high standard.”
