Health Awareness week got off to a staple start with free breakfasts for all year seven pupils at The Brooksbank School, Elland.
Break time was blurry with pupils donning beer goggles to see how alcohol impairs the senses. Students played anti-smoking giant snakes and ladders led by a team of nurses who informed children of the dangers of smoking.
Organiser, Mrs Jackie Scott, said: “It was a great day for talking about what being healthy is all about. Many students have shown they’re already aware about living healthy lifestyles and we hope these healthy messages will encourage them.”
