Nearly 60 Old Rastrickians attended the organisation’s annual dinner at the Auctioneer Restaurant, Brighouse.

The guest speaker was Bob Pinder who talked about his time at the school and his long career as a chartered accountant.

Secretary John Howarth said it was a very successful event.

“We like to keep the tradition of annual dinners going for old boys of all vintages,” he said.

Reunions were re-started after the second world war for former pupils of what was Rastrick Grammar School which closed in 1985.
