Four weeks left to get your nomination in
Brighouse Echo Business Awards 2012, at Brighouse Sports and Social Club.
THERE are four weeks left to get your nomination in for this year’s Brighouse Echo Business Awards.
The Echo is staging this awards scheme against a background of spiralling costs, tightening of belts and a degree of uncertainty over the future. But we believe there has never been a better time to celebrate the achievements and success of our local businesses and the valuable contribution they make to the local economy.
In its third year the awards scheme, enthusiastically sponsored by Armitage Sykes solicitors, covers ten categories and features all types of businesses, from the major employer to the corner shop, from start-ups to established companies.
They recognise success in the market place and the individuals who have contributed to that success. They celebrate talent, commitment and skill. A new award for 2013 will recognise the building industry and all the many people who contribute to construction in the area.
Hosted by BBC Look North presenter Clare Frisby, the winners will be announced at The Holiday Inn, Clifton, where the awards ceremony will be held for the first time. The criteria for each award is below and all entries must be submitted by January 31.
Full details on how to enter can be found at www.jpeventsnorth.co.uk or entries can be sent to michaela.maunders@brighouseecho.co.uk
Editor John Kenealy said: “The awards are a fantastic opportunity for people to show off their business. Brighouse really is bucking the trend and what better way to celebrate this than entering the business awards.
“You can nominate yourself or be nominated and it really is simple to do. By taking part or by supporting this scheme you are blowing the trumpet for your business and for Brighouse. We look forward to hearing from you and celebrating how fantastic the town is.”
