Father in son in court on deception charges

TWO men appeared before Calderdale magistrates on deception charges.

Andrew Mark Harding, 27, of Poplar View, Lightcliffe, was charged with obtaining more than 15,000 from Brenda Nicholls claiming it was for their wedding ceremony. He then allegedly transferred the money to his father, John Harding, 56, of Whitegate Road, Halifax. He faces seven counts of possessing criminal property in relation to cash deposited in a Lloyds TSB account. The case was committed to Bradford Crown Court on April 26. They were remanded on conditional bail.
