From Mohicans to rainbow style hairstyles, children came to school with their wacky hair to raise money for charity.

Pupils from St Andrew’s Junior School, Brighouse, took part in the crazy hair day to raise funds for the Laura Crane Cancer Trust

A member of the charity visited a school assembly to explain how some children when undergoing treatment lose their hair and wore wigs and bandanas.

The children raised £180.25 towards the charity which was set up in memory of the former Brighouse High School student who died in May 1996 at the age of 17.

During April this year, charity ambassador and former Rugby League star Keith Senior, is taking on a huge marathon challenge for the charity, running four marathons over four consecutive Sundays,
