Parents, pupils and teachers enjoyed a great day out as they got into the Christmas spirit.

The Lightcliffe Primary School Christmas Fair was a great success with even Father Christmas stopping off to take in the festivities.

The jolly man in the red suit listened to children’s wishes for Christmas with the help of faithful elves.

There were a range of stalls offering great local gifts, food and crafts plus there were a host of games for children and adults.

A funfair ride, nail and face painting completed the day which was a resounding success raising £3,100 which will be invested in the school’s PFSA fund for trips and improvements at the school.
