A group of friends who were among the first pupils at Brighouse High School in 1985 are holding a reunion.

Organiser Sally Fisher, formerly Sally Pardon, is hoping that the reunion party will be attended by many former pupils from 1985 to 1990/92.

Sally, who now lives and works in London, said: “This is a special year for us as we all turn 40.

“We thought it would be the perfect year to get back together, catch up with old friends and toast our 40th birthdays.”

In 1985 the former Brighouse Girls Grammar School changed to Brighouse High School and Sally and her friends were among the first intake.

“I have very happy memories of my time at Brighouse High. We’ve had a couple of reunions since we left but we hope this will be special because of our 40th birthdays.”

The reunion will be held at Milry’s restaurant, Owler Ings Road, Brighouse, on Saturday, February 8 at 7pm.

Tickets are £12 which includes food. For more details contact Sally on 07970 483026.
