Leap of faith for charity

Two members of Brighouse Ladies’ Circle jumped 15,000ft to help raise funds for the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

Lisa Bennett and Emma Hempenstall were supposed to do the tandem skydive at Hibaldstow on June 23 but due to the weather it was cancelled.

Emma said: “It is the UK’s highest skydive and together we raised £1,500 for the charity. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.

“We have also arranged a bungee jump for September and we are organising the Laura Crane Trust Ball which will be on November 23 at the Cedar Court in Bradford.

“For more information people can email us at brighouse216@gmail.com”

The group is supporting the charity and has raised more than £4,000 since April.

New members are welcome at the group and anyone interested can contact them on the email above.
