Stromberg Golf is the sponsor of this year’s Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice charity golf day on May 17.
The company in Brighouse will sponsor the event at Huddersfield Golf Club, which will see 24 teams competing against each other in order to help raise funds for the hospice in Brackenhall.
Director Richard Taylor said: “We are delighted that we are able to offer our sponsorship to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice for their annual Charity Golf Day. “We’re sure the event will be a great day of golf and hopefully raise a great amount for this fantastic charity.”
All proceeds from the event will go to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, a charity which supports children with life limiting conditions and their families across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
Community fund-raiser Sam Wood said: “We are thrilled that Stromberg Golf has agreed to be the major sponsors for our annual Charity Golf Day and donated a fantastic £1,000 to do so.
“The company has previously helped us with our ‘One Good Thing’ campaign by donating a number of items of clothing to our stores, and this latest charitable gesture has once again reaffirmed Stromberg’s incredible support.”
The event will include a raffle and an auction, and all the money will go to the hospice.
