The deadline is approaching for voluntary and community groups wanting to apply for grants of up to £2,500 from a West Yorkshire Police trust.
The West Yorkshire Police Community Trust is a registered charity helping groups within the county improve their neighbourhoods by providing grants.
It was established in 1996 and since then has supported almost 600 groups with grants.
And local groups are now being encouraged to get their bids in for money to support their cause.
The theme for this year’s round is “Activities which discourage anti-social behaviour and criminality in 11-25 year olds.”
All applications must be supported by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, September 6, and the application form and guidance notes are available on the website - www.westyorkshire.police.uk/communitytrust
