The Globe, situated on Rastrick Common, is celebrating being number one on Trip Advisor for restaurants in Brighouse.
Anne informed Good Times of the fantastic news, and along with husband Alan they put their eleventh year at the pub to bed.
Last Friday night they held a charity curry night, offering five courses for £15 per head, to raise money for The ABF soldiers charity. It was a very successful night, raising £205.
“We had a fantastic response for the evening with a full restaurant and would like to thank all who attended and also the regulars from the bar for donating and buying takeaway curry at the end of the night,” Anne said.
The staff on duty also donated their wages and the chefs, Eddie Sykes and Anne, put on a superb Indian menu.
Looking towards Christmas they have limited space for parties or individual bookings during December, both at lunchtime and night, but they still have availability on Christmas Eve when they will open between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with the usual evening menu, although booking is advisable.
The popular eatery is fully booked on Christmas Day and it has a few places left on Boxing Day around the 3.30pm sitting.
“The pub and the restaurant are going from strength to strength and we have a brand new website going live in the next few weeks,” added Anne.
The pub’s pool and domino teams are also doing well in their respective leagues and the pub also has a thriving golf society.
“We will welcome any new members to any of our teams should anyone be interested,” Anne said.
