The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has been announced as the official charity partner of Huddersfield Giants Rugby League team for the 2015 Super League season.

The Giants will be partnering with the hospice, a charity providing care and support to local children with life shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.

Peter Branson, chief executive at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, said: “We are truly delighted to be supported by the Huddersfield Giants. Their brand values of supporting the local community and particularly supporting local children fits perfectly with our charity.

James Brammer, Giants marketing and media manager, said: “The support the hospice gives to children and their families across Kirklees, Calderdale and the surrounding area is incredible and we are proud to be partnering with them for the forthcoming season.

“There is great excitement about the relationship and we are looking forward to announcing shortly a number of events and initiatives for our supporters to engage in.”
