The atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties will come to Brighouse Civic Hall tonight when Baz Luhrman’s blockbuster movie ‘The Great Gatsby’ gets a screening.
It is the latest in a highly-successful series of film showings being promoted by Brighouse Business Initiative.
Steven Lord, on of the organisers, said: “We are hoping to have a 1920s party atmosphere with ‘mocktails’ - non-alcoholic cocktails - and we hope people will come dressed in ‘20s style and make it a really great night out.”
The doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £4.50 for adults and the film has a 12A certificate.
It is hoped to screen film matinees for children during the school holidays in August.
The picture shows Juliette Gaffney, Lesley Adams, John Buxton, Steven Lord and Sophie Walker is party gear.
