Friends of Rydings group holds series of talks

The Friends of the Rydings present a talk by David Glover entitled “Franz Ferdinand and Sophie: the killings that changed Europe” on February 27 at 2pm.

This talk charts the beginning of WW1 through the assassinations in Sarajevo to the outbreak of war in Europe.

This is followed on March 27 by a presentation on “The Life and Times of Charles Dickens” by Pat Osborne. There is no pre-booking and the cost is £3 or £2 for Friends and concessions.

Refreshments will be provided with contributions towards the Friends group.
