Flood warnings issued by Environment Agency after day of persistent rain

Flood warnings have been issued for the River Calder after a day of heavy rain.

Persistent rainfall, expected to last until 9pm this evening, has caused the River Calder and its tributaries to rise quickly.

Flood warnings from the Environment Agency are currently in place for Brearley and Luddenden Foot and the Nun Bank Wood area of Brighouse.
