Tonight (Thursday) at The Calder they have their quiz night, then DJ’s from 9pm till 1am both Friday and Saturday with drinks offers all night. Sunday will see the return of Soul On Sunday, playing the best of Northern Soul and Motown from 3pm till 9pm.

Kirsty Gelder at The Bridge will hold a family Fun Day on June 1 from 2pm-6pm. There will be a bouncy castle, professional face painting, tombola, cake stall and much more happening. All money raised will be going to the Summer Allen Appeal. Kirsty is looking for support from local businesses to donate gifts, toys and vouchers to go towards a raffle/tombola. Tonight (Thursday) at The Barge the Jam Session is with Mike Brown. On Friday night reggae band Jah Maica will be on stage. Saturday it’s the popular return of the International Party Doctors and on Sunday there is rock and roll with the Ziggy Battles Band.

On Wednesday at Jeremy’s at the Boathouse they are holding a quiz night from 7.30pm. It is £3 per head and includes a supper and it’s a max of six people per team.

Adrian Whitworth at The Beck on Bradford Road has his Sunday Sessions acoustic lounge this Sunday with Jake Smallbones headlining, starting at 4.30pm.
