The New Year sees a new era for catering services at Crow Nest Park Golf Club, Brighouse.

After four years of running the club’s hospitality as a franchise operation, general manager Les Holmes has decided to take a leap of faith and move it back in-house.

Many of the hospitality staff have remained in post and the club’s experienced restaurant team is headed up by Jon Stark.

The future is looking bright for the club and its catering expertise as fine dining, events, lunches and evening meals are set to continue.

To launch the new catering arrangements, the club is planning a members’ evening at the end of the month.

Members and their guests will be able to enjoy an evening of food, drink and live music. A Valentine’s menu is being planned and the club is also looking at introducing discount cards for regular diners.

On Saturday the club is hosting a Burns Night supper. A traditional menu will be served with guest appearances by piper Hugh Norwood and the Skallagrigg Band. The supper costs £22.50 per head - black tie optional.

Les said: “This is a new era for the club as its the first time members have had a bar and catering facility of their own.

“The club is a non-profit company and a community amateur sports club so our facilities are for our members and the local community to enjoy.”
