Students at Hipperholme and Lightcliffe High School have kicked off their fund raising activities for the year.
The sixth form and school’s charity committee put together their Onesie Wednesday which saw students were their roomy babygrows instead of their uniforms.
Styled in Disney characters, animals, spots, stripes neon and camouflage attire, the school helped raise vital funds for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Led by sixth form students Lucy Ackroyd and Danielle Clifford, they secured generous support form local businesses and companies who donated raffle prizes, They also held bun and cakes stalls throughout the day.
More events are scheduled with members of the committee planning a talent competition and supporting Children In Need next half term.
