Every year college students support the local Rotary charity event by filling boxes to send to Eastern Europe. The students collect for the boxes by placing toiletries and other gifts under the 6th form Christmas tree. The students and staff also bake for a bun sale and use the proceeds to buy extra gifts for the boxes.

Brighouse High rose to the challenge of Children in Need fundraising earlier this month. A variety of activities took place including fancy dress, a bake off, a charity Uno competition, Guess the sweets in the jar, sponsored silences and a fund raising car wash. The photograph below shows the staff versus pupils netball match. Altogether over £1600 was raised.
