GREASE was the word for students at Hipperholme Grammar School.
Around 40 students have returned to Brighouse Civic Theatre after their success in 2010 with ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ to present the hit musical, Grease.
The show has been produced by Miss Hanni Fisher and Mrs Adrienne Settle of the school’s English and drama departments, and the music is co-ordinated and directed by choirmaster David Condry and Miss Elizabth Free of the music department.
The show is packed with lively and well known songs, alongside fast-paced and entertaining storylines.
Hipperholme Grammar School’s production is promising to be wonderful show and it will be the last chance to catch it tonight at 7pm.
“We have been perfecting the songs, the action and the dance routines to make the show the best that it can possibly be,” said Miss Fisher. “We are very excited about this production and it has been a spectacular show so far, demonstrating the extraordinary talent of many of our students at the grammar school.”
