STUDENTS at the William Henry Smith School enjoyed a day in the sun at their annual Easter Fair.
Pupils and staff from the Rastrick School were joined by parents as a range of activities were held to mark the end of the school term.
Pitch and putt, inflatable table table football, go-kart racing, welly tossing, penalty shoot-outs and teachers in the stocks were just some of the fun attractions.
Amongt them were stalls with cakes, tombolas and hand made and recycled jewellery that the boys had created.
Making good use of the summer temperatures, the barbecue proved to be popular with all the families.
Head teacher Brendan Heneghan said the event was a real success and rounded off a great couple of months.
“It was a perfect day and everybody had a great time. It has been a long term but it has been a special one as we got a very good Ofsted report. Everybody has worked really hard.
“The day just rounds off this term perfectly. The only problem that we have had is trying to stop all the chocolate Easter Eggs from melting!”
