Pupils from Bailiff Bridge Primary School saddled up on their bikes to help raise money for charity.

Friends Hannah Downes, Megan Hall, Melissa Johnston, Charlotte Gray, Katherine Howell and Megan Bolland rode from Tesco in Cleckheaton along part of Spen Valley Greenway to Wyke and back.

Due to the bad weather, the friends, all aged nine, had to postpone their ride twice but managed to complete their challenge and raise £150 for Comic Relief.

Mum Anneliese Gray said: “The girls finally managed to do the bike ride. They had glorious weather and all had a great time.”
