Echo Business Awards: Be our employee of the year

DO you work alongside an inspirational colleague?

Has one of your workmates been particularly helpful or conscientious?

If so now is your chance to nominate him or her for the Employee of the Year category in the Brighouse Echo Business Awards 2011. We want Echo readers to get involved by nominating the employee who gives that little bit extra to their workplace and to their colleagues.

It could be a cleaner or a caretaker, a cook or a shop assistant. The winner of the Employee of the Year category, sponsored by Rand & Asquith, stands to win £200 and a trophy.

Entries are coming in for the prestigious Echo Business Awards, being made for the first time this year. Nominations are being invited in 10 categories from Business of the Year to Apprentice of the Year.

The awards will be announced at a ceremony at Brighouse Sports Club on Thursday, May 12. BBC presenter Clare Frisby will host the ceremony and the guest speaker will be businessman Carl Hopkins.
