Drivers have seen some disruption on the roads due to the wintry conditions.

On the M62 there is snow between Junction 21, Milnrow and Junction 23, Huddersfield, causing hazardous driving conditions.

The Yorkshire Tiger bus service also confirmed that due to snow at Queensbury the 0652 526 service from Hungerhill to Halifax will not be able to run.

The morning rush hour is also seeing traffic build on A629 Calderdale Way southbound in Elland before Ainley Top Roundabout and on the A58 Bolton Brow in Sowerby Bridge around the A6026 Wakefield Road traffic lights junction.

The weather in Calderdale will be cloudy and chilly with outbreaks of rain with some sleet or snow over the Pennines.

Rain will gradually clear away eastwards with some brighter spells and perhaps glimpses of sunshine spreading from the east through the afternoon. Maximum Temperature 11C.

There will be a mainly dry evening with breaks in the cloud allowing cold, clear spells.

Cloud may thicken enough to give isolated, wintry showers during the latter part of the night. Minimum Temperature -1C.
