The Brighouse Cinema welcomed fans of the Disney smash hit film Frozen to the Civic Hall.

Many children dressed as their favourite characters and were even treated to visit by a special guest.

Father Christmas gave his reindeer the night off as he arrived in Brighouse via the Grand Central train.

Brighouse Cinema’s next presentation will be Pride on January 29 at 7.30pm.

The film, a drama about a miners’ strike, has just been named best film at the British Independent Film Awards. The drama, about an alliance between gay rights campaigners and pit workers during the 1984 strike, collected three awards in total. Andrew Scott and Imelda Staunton won the best supporting actor and actress prizes for their roles in the film.
