Darts stars who have featured in competitions in the Professioal Darts Corporation will be heading to Rastrick to raise funds for a Brighouse charity.
The exhibition, organised by SCARD (Support and Care After Road Death and injury), will see players Dennis “the menace” Priestley, Joe Cullen, Devon Peterson and Jamie Lewis take to the oche at Rastrick Bowling Club.
Guests will also get the opportunity to play with the players as well as raise funds by taking part in a raffle and auction. Food is included in the price of the ticket.
The charity, based in Thornton Square, Brighouse, is also on the lookout for volunteers to help provide support to those who have suddenly become bereaved, injured or affected through the loss of a loved one in a road traffic collision or are traumatised through witnessing a traffic collision on the road.
SCARD was set up by Rastrick woman Carole Whittingham MBE in 1993 after her 27-year-old son Steven was killed by a stolen car on January 30, 1992.
Tickets for the SCARD darts exhibition on May 8 are £10 and are available on 01484 723649.
