Chance to quiz police authority members

WEST Yorkshire Police Authority will be in Calderdale on June 17.

Members of the local policing committee will see how neighbourhoods are being policed and if the force is meeting the needs of all communities and ensuring doors are open to people.

The meeting will take place at Halifax Central Library, Northgate, Halifax, at 10am where the topics will be focused on the police powers around licensing, the work of neighbourhood policing teams and also police powers around stop and searches.

At the end, a question and answer session will take place and anyone will be able to quiz the authority’s members.
