Campaign against bedroom tax grows

Calderdale Save Our Services is joining with Calderdale Protest Against The Bedroom Tax to hold a public meeting.

The meeting will take place next Thursday, April 11, at 7.30pm at the Maurice Jagger Centre, near Halifax bus station. Calderdale Save Our Services has supported the Protest Against The Bedroom Tax Group at demonstrations at Halifax Town Hall and at Pennine Housing’s head office.

Allen Keep, of Calderdale Save Our Services, will chair the meeting. He said: “This public meeting will be an opportunity for people to find out more about the bedroom tax, how it will affect them and how we can move this campaign forward together.”
