Brighouse-based recruitment agency, Transline Group, has seen its finance director named as Yorkshire’s ‘Rising Star’ at the Barclays Celebrating Women in Business Awards.

Jenni Hardy was recognised at the awards for her pivotal role in Transline’s impressive growth, where she took a front seat in leading the firm to surpass £220m in revenue in 2015.

The awards attracted over 60 entries which were judged by prominent faces within the Yorkshire business community.

Judges were looking for exceptional women in the regional business community who had made a substantial difference within their business in the past 12 months.

Jenni Hardy said of her award: “This award is a huge honour for me and I am thrilled to be recognised within the Yorkshire business community.

“The awards represent the importance of women in business; it’s great to highlight the opportunities available for women in a wide variety of sectors.”

Chris Birkby, managing director at Transline added: “We’re extremely proud of Jenni’s achievements.

“The award celebrates both Jenni’s fantastic leadership within Transline and women in business as a whole.”

Transline, which is based at Stoneleigh on Halifax Road, was founded in 1989 by joint chief executives Paul Beasley and Jon Taylor and is one of the UK’s fastest growing recruiters

The company now spans more than 100 sites across the UK, as well as having operations in Ireland, Eastern Europe, Canada, Thailand and Dubai.
