Millers Oils have recently invested in two new Renault trucks to boost their operations team.
The Renault T 380 LONG HAUL – EURO 6 will provide the firm’s hauliers with a comfortable mode of transport, as they feature air suspended seats, three ambient lighting modes and a microwave and fridge.
Millers Oils, based at Rastrick Common in Brighouse, were keen to invest in energy saving vehicles, which in these trucks is provided through the improvements to the aerodynamics of the vehicle bodies.
This investment will help prolong their fleet life, something that Millers Oils is keen to achieve.
The company’s Eclipse fuel treatments increase fuel efficiency, lower emissions and clean injectors.
Millers’ MILES programme is a 3-in-1 solution designed to provide fuel savings and reduced maintenance costs for fleets.
It combines a fuel treatment additive, a nanodrive super-low friction engine oil and a nanodrive super-low friction gear oil.
The fuel treatment is expected to typically reduce fuel consumption by two to three per cent, which for fleet operators is a large saving proportion.
Further benefits of the whole programme include reducing wear, drag/friction and fuel consumption.
Millers was established in 1887 and started life servicing the textile industry.
They were the first producer of long drain interval oil for trucks and the first diesel specific engine oil for cars.
In 2012 they won the Queen’s Award for Entreprise, International Trade.
