A TRAVEL agent who spends her working days making holiday dreams come true has celebrated 20 years with the same business.
Angela Haigh started her career in the industry in 1991 as a trainee travel consultant at Tony Iredale Travel and stayed with the business through a number of name changes before it became The Co-operative Travel in April 2005.
She said: “I’m incredibly proud to work in travel and my knowledge and experience has helped many people travel all over the world as well as closer to home.
“The personal touch and recommendations I have are second to none and I really enjoy making our customers’ dream holidays come true. I have been lucky to travel to many wonderful places including the Sultan of Brunei’s Palace.
Branch manager Vicky Sanderson, who gave Angela her long service award, said: “Angela has an incredible knowledge of the travel industry and has been a great help to the holidaymakers of Brighouse since the day she started.
“We hope she will continue to work here for another 20 years!”
