Calderdale is set for a cold day today (Monday), with strong winds and rain

There will be lows of 10C and lows of 11C. Wind speeds will reach up to 25 miles per hour.

Meanwhile traffic is starting to build on the major roads in and around Calderdale.

Strong winds on the M62 between junction 24 A629 (Ainley Top) and junction 22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) are causing delays, with matrix signs set to 40 miles per hour.

Traffic on the A58 Wharf Street in Sowerby Bridge is busy but moving in both directions at the A6129 Tuel Lane junction.

Traffic on the A629 Cow Green in Halifax is busy but moving in both directions at the Bull Green junction.

Traffic on the A58 Aachen Way in Halifax is busy but moving at the Queen’s Road junction.

There is heavy traffic on the A58 Bolton Brow in Sowerby Bridge around the A6026 Wakefield Road traffic lights junction.

Traffic on the A629 Calderdale Way in Elland is busy but moving in both directions at the A6025 Halifax Road junction.

On the A641 Huddersfield Road in Brighouse traffic is busy but moving outbound at the Bethel Street junction.
