Business Awards 2014: Koso Kent Introl win prestigious title

The prestigious title of Business of the Year, sponsored by Projex Solutions, recognises success, growth and achievement.

The award, presented by Jamie Ashton of Projex Solutions, was won by Koso Kent Introl, a global valve company thatis developing all the time.

Originally formed in 1967 under the name Introl Ltd, the company has evolved over the years, becoming stronger with each change and better positioned to meet the demands of a constantly changing exploration marketplace.

It is regularly recruiting staff members and developing the amount of countries it is dealing with on a regular basis.

Host Clare Frisby said: “The company aims to meet its customer requirements while maintaining an ethical and legal approach to its business and respecting the environment, as well as the health and safety of colleagues. Maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout design, production and customer service is the cornerstone of KKI’s philosophy.”

Speaking after receiving the award Lynn Mowbray, of Koso Kent Introl, said: “It could not have been a better night for us. We had no idea we had been nominated and are absolutely thrilled to win.

“We have been in Brighouse for 47 years and want to continue for another 47.

“We have a great workforce and we are on the up. This is just fantastic.”

Also shortlisted was Severn Unival PLC. The company has returned to the town with the aim of expanding on a global scale and investing in people for the future.
