For the Innovator of the Year Award, sponsored by the Brighouse Echo, judges wanted businesses to be able to demonstrate how new products or services had helped drive them forward in a difficult and competitive marketplace.
Innovation is the lifeblood of business and this is all about recognising firms looking for new ways of working and bringing new products to the market in order to survive and prosper.
Brighouse Echo editor John Kenealy presented the award to Lattitude 7.
Martin Haigh uses an innovative approach to training, giving organisations a fresh way of looking at their business.
He has worked with a number of organisations, some arranged through Business Growth Calderdale, in order to help them grow.
Through problem solving programmes, leading teams through a process of radical change or inventing a new product or process for a business, Lattitude 7 has helped companies across the country.
Host Clare Frisby said: “Martin believes in the value of going the extra mile and works hard to provide a sustainable learning experience for his clients.
“Being born in Calderdale, living in Brighouse and working with regional organisations he is passionate about supporting the local community and will continue to develop relationships and identify tangible growth opportunities in Brighouse and beyond.”
Martin said: “People think that innovation is all about productivity and processes but it’s also possible to innovate with services and that’s what we do at Lattitude 7.
“We try to unlock the full potential so people can do something completely different and radical.”
