Nicola Denford, corporate affairs manager, said: “Whether you are a professional or a hobbyist, an engineer, an innovative designer, an inventor, a creative teacher, an amazing thinker or a hi-tech tinkerer, then having your own 3D printer will enable you to unleash your creativity and turn your designs into real-life three dimensional models - at the touch of a button.”

“Denford Limited are pleased to announce the launch of the new UP! Plus 2 – a compact, portable desktop 3D Printer, at a truly affordable price. The UP! Plus 2 3D Printer works straight out of the box and comes with everything you need to allow you to start printing your own 3D models.”

The printer takes a 3D design, slices the digital 3D model into layers and then prints each layer using extruded plastic ABS filament.

Each layer is built upon the last, until your model is complete - this process is also known as additive manufacture.

As well as creating working gears and models, the printer can also produce its own working parts.
