Customers at Sainsbury’s Brighouse have voted BASH Local as the store’s new local charity of the year.
BASH Local is a Brighouse based charity that supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in the local community via outreach and drop in sessions, providing food, drink and clothing.
Rebecca Snow, food bank manager from BASH Local, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us. It will make a huge difference to our charity. We’re looking forward to the partnership and working closely with the colleagues at the Brighouse store.”
Steve Brown, store manager at Sainsbury’s Brighouse, added: “I’d like to say congratulations to BASH Local. It’s great to be working with a new charity this year.”
