British Car Auctions based on Armytage Road, Brighouse, celebrated their 5,000th car sale.

The event attracted a record crowd of buyers, both in the auction hall and participating via BCA’s Live Online service, eager to bid on the great choice of makes and models.

Nearly 300 cars were sold on the day, with buyers bidding strongly across the board.

Customers at the event won £3,000 worth of prizes, supplied by UKCGR and BCA, to celebrate the landmark. “Our 5000th sale was a great success, thanks to the fantastic selection of vehicles entered for sale by UKCGR and the great support of buyers throughout the event”, said Chris Hesketh, Manager of BCA Brighouse.

“We are delighted to have reached this notable business landmark at BCA Brighouse, and are already looking forward to the next 5,000 sales.”

The centre has been serving the Yorkshire motor industry for over 30 years and is one of the most well-known auctions in the UK. As part of the Europe-wide BCA group, it forms an important link in the UK network and stages special sales for manufacturers and corporate customers.
