The Town Hall Dental practice in Brighouse is celebrating its first birthday since opening in one of Brighouse’s landmarks.

Since moving into the former town hall, Dr Imran Rangzeb and his team have expanded their services whilst restoring the and maintaining the original features of the building.

Rachel Dilley, practice and business development manager, said: “The practice and business has been more successful than we could have imagined.

“It was important for us to restore the building and keep its original fittings and furnishings in place.”

To keep the history of the building intact, Chris Helme has produced a timeline about the history of the town hall and how it has changed down the years. The practice is also opening up the display for school pupils to go down and view.

Town Hall Dental were also crowned winners of the 2013 What Clinic Customer Service Awards.

The Grade Two listed was sold for £136,000 at an auction in February 2010 after it was deemed surplus to requirements by Calderdale Council.
